Yes, those missles look so cool flying across the screen… a huge flock of missles. All the missles on the planet. Dolf, we love the look of those missles, thank you!

Jen reports that there are only two more scenes where dialogue needs to be sync’d and scrubbed. Way to go Ed and Dan!

All n’ all, a pretty dang cool day looking at and listening to new bits of the film. FYI: Jen and Ian are working on the “Film Racing Grand Prix” this weekend. Wayne Bastrup’s team won this competition last year with this short film (above).

Here are the stats.

Status of Visual Effects (VFX) Shots:
Number remaining: 63 (Wow!)
Number in progress: 11
Number completed: 555 (three fives!)
Percentage remaining: 10.2% (double Wow!!)

Doom: “20.33333333″ (calculated by Ian)

Projected date for completion of all VFX:
18 January 2010 (based on projected time estimates of all tasks)
12 February 2010 (based on spreadsheet items completed per week)

This week’s recommendations:
Ian: “Drink plenty of fluids.”
Jen: “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, the musical. Everyone deserves a chance to fly.
Nate: “Silver” by the Pixies. This song is an unusual slow, ethereal wonder.
Phil: “The Guild”
