The Producer’s Report #78 – Great shots / ADR Kickoff Saturday
Jul 2009 30

Veggie was back with us tonight as we reviewed a new collection of epic shots of Nebraska inside the Arizona Exosuit battling Subject C. I’m not going to lie to you, the shots that Ian and the post-production are cranking out are knock down amazing. I can say no more. Jen reports that ADR at “Walker” studios begins this Saturday. Josh Truax will be at the mic. Thanks for all your efforts everyone!

Status of Visual Effects (VFX) Shots:
Number remaining: 142
Number in progress: 13
Number completed: 469

Doom: Hungry, Hungry Sharks (calculated by Ian)

Projected date for completion of all VFX:
21 January 2010 (based on projected time estimates of all tasks)
29 December 2009 (based on spreadsheet items completed per week)

This week’s recommendations:
Ian: “Swimming after midnight”
Jen: “Stargate Universe” premieres September 2.
Nathan Vegdahl: “Project Durian” in particular, I recommend pre-ordering the DVD! Find it here. If you buy the DVD prior to September 15, you get your name in the credits.
Nathan McCoy: “Slaves and Bulldozers” by Soundgarden. Classic Soundgarden. This song has it all. Pumping bass line. Driving drums. Crazy grunge guitar line – a-melodic transforms to melodic. Driving lyrics. Buying lies and stealing jokes and laughing every time I choke – biding all the time you took. Now I know why you’ve been taken Now I know why you’ve been taken Now I know why you’ve been taken Now I know why you’ve been taken.
Phil: “Project Durian” because I am totally grateful for the support we receive from our friends at Blender.
