We are delighted to report that Project London is an official selection of the Gen Con Indy Film Festival 2013, August 15-18. It’s an honor to be selected for this festival along with the other films in this event. And we’re very pleased that Jen Page (Xing Xing Fix) and Nathan Tayler (Blender Artist) will be there to represent the Cast + Crew of Project London.

Friend of Project London, Calvin Serrano, has created an animation test using the Arizona exosuit. He’s preparing to make a video with this blender rig. We think that is pretty darn cool. June 1st: Appearance at the Spokane Comicon

August 17th: Screening at Gen Con with Q&A panel including Jen Page (Xing) and Nathan Taylor (Blender Artist)

The the producers of the best four days in gaming, Gen Con will be screening Project London! Get your tickets now for the screening which will be held this August 17th at 5pm! It’s free, but seating is limited to 100. Event registration begins tomorrow at noon, so don’t delay! There are 41,000 people vying for event seats!

But wait, there’s more! Jen Page (Xing Xing Fix) and Nathan Tayler (Blender Artist, key member of the visual effects team) will participate in a Q&A session following the screening.

Gen Con Indy is the original, longest-running, best-attended, gaming convention in the world!

I’ve been moving a TON of posts from www.projectlondon.net over here to the Official Movie site because I’m going to shut the site down. I just finished getting all of Ian’s posts installed and ran across this gem of a video. It always makes me smile to hear Ian sing this song. I’ll be moving the remainder of posts over here in the next few days then shutting the site down.

June 1st we’ll be at the Spokane Comicon with Blu-ray and DVD copies of Project London for sale. Along with the Soundtrack CD, Project Manhattan, the Project London graphic novel and Posters!! We will also have a small collection of items autographed by key Cast + Crew Members. Stop by for a chat and a chance to get your copy of Project London!

Last Saturday I drove up to the Post Office with the last van load of packages for our Kickstarter Backers. Woot! I’m so delighted to have shipped all the Kickstarter Rewards. I’m also very grateful to our Kickstarter Backers for helping us get the move onto DVD and Blu-ray Disks along with creating our Soundtrack CD. Feedback has been coming in and I’m hearing that people are enjoying the movie and that is super great. Packages have are arriving all over this planet–from New Zealand and Japan to South Africa, Brazil, Russia, and all over Europe and the U.S.A.

Thank you to everyone who has backed and supported us to this point. We are now focused on creating the assets needed to make disks! There are several steps in the process including the following.

Long time friend of Project London, Ben Gerber of Troll in the Corner fame reached out to us to do a podcast and wham, bam, here it is!

Ben introduces his audience to Project London, which you know is a feature-length, science-fiction, action-adventure movie with 774 visual effects made by over 250 volunteers. He’s also blogged about the movie and yesterday, sat down with Ian, writer and director, Phil, executive producer, film maker and all around mastermind and Jen , a principle actor playing Xing Xing Fix.

Ben talks about actually creating the movie, the technology that went into the movie, auditioning, Creative Commons, the passion that goes into a volunteer project, 774 freaking visual effects shots, and of course, who’s going to sing at the end of the podcast.
